Mission Statement
The mission of the Jason Capranos Golf Academy is to provide golfers of all levels with personalized instruction and guidance to improve their skills and enjoyment of the game. Our goal is to create a supportive and challenging learning environment that encourages students to reach their full potential, both on and off the course. We strive to use the latest teaching techniques, technology, and equipment to help our students achieve their goals. We are committed to instilling the values of sportsmanship, discipline, and respect for the game in all our students. Ultimately, we aim to help our students become lifelong lovers of golf and to enjoy the physical, mental, and social benefits that come with the sport.
Meet
Jason Capranos
Head Instructor
A native of Brampton, Ontario, Jason Capranos is a current PGA of Canada member and the current Teaching Professional at Turnberry Golf Club. Jason is Humber College Professional Golf Management Program graduate where he earned Honours and was the recipient of the David Dodge Economics Scholarship. Jason began his teaching career with Turnberry’s Junior Camp Program. For over 7 years Jason has gone from assisting to facilitating and now directing instruction at Turnberry Golf Club
Jason enjoys spending his time growing the game by working with junior, beginner and intermediate level golfers. He leans on his years of experience as well as his time spent with some of Canada's premier golf coaches to ensure that the improvement process is enjoyable, attainable, and flexible for students of all ages and skill levels.

His most notable student to date is Bavake Sihota, current member of the University of Michigan Golf Team, former #1 Junior Golfer in Ontario via the World Amateur Golf Rankings and National Junior Golf Scoreboard, as well as former #3 Junior Golfer in Canada via the World Amateur Golf Rankings and # 2 Junior Golf in Canada via National Junior Golf Scoreboard. Jason has spent over 5 years working with Bavake, improving his golf game, golf psychology and his physical fitness.
